Fontechiara – Cantina

Cantina Fontechiara is a small family-run winery located in Alto Piemonte.
The winery is strategically located between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, about 40 minutes from Milan and easily accessible from Malpensa airport.

We produce red and rosé DOC Colline Novaresi wines, made from indigenous grape varieties such as Nebbiolo and Vespolina.
Our wines are natural, unmodified, vinified in purity and certified vegan with the VEGANOK label.
From the very beginning we have chosen an approach that respects tradition, the land and its fruit: in the vineyard we adopt organic fertilisation, deliberately maintaining a low yield per hectare and operating a strong selection of the bunches to be brought to maturity.
In the cellar we follow the same philosophy, avoiding the use of chemical products and animal derivatives.

We organise visits with tastings of our wines, paired with typical local products.
We are open all year round, being able to accommodate guests both outdoor (we have a covered porch) and indoor.
In a familiar and welcoming environment, guests will also have the opportunity to appreciate the various artisanal products we make using our wines and marc, such as cosmetics with polyphenol extracts, wine chocolates, candles with grape essences and marc, red wine pasta, breadsticks, jams, etc.
