Get ready to live a unique experience along one of the most scenic routes in Italy! 42 km of pure emotion from Arona to Pallanza, running overlooking Lake Maggiore, crossing the wonderful Borromean Gulf. The sporting event also offers distances for every runner: Half Marathon, 33 KM and 10 KM. LMM, to overcome your limits or simply to run in a dream setting.

21 km of emotions along the coast of Lake Maggiore, with the breathtaking backdrop of the Borromean Gulf. From the charm of Stresa to the magic of Pallanza, every step is a dive into nature, history and speed! In 2018, one of the most extraordinary chapters of Italian running was written here: 59’06”, the second best ‘all time’ time for the half marathon in Italy. A dream route. A record-breaking race.

THE ORGANIZERS
Sport PRO-MOTION A.S.D. was established in 2007 and began its operations in 2008 with the organisation of the LAGO MAGGIORE HALF MARATHON, the LAGO MAGGIORE GRAND PRIX 10 KM as well as the management of the “VERBANIA ON ICE” ice skating rink. In 2011, it initiated the LAGO MAGGIORE MARATHON, an event of great international interest. In 2018, it will organise the MONTEROSA EST HIMALAYAN TRAIL and in 2021 the ULTRA TRAIL LAGO MAGGIORE. From 2022 it will restart with renewed energy the 24th edition of the MEZZA DUE LAGHI, formerly the VCO Marathon.
