Lago d’Orta, also known under its Latin name of “Cusio” is situated between the Valsesia and Lake Maggiore.
Lago d’Orta is considered the most romantic lake in Italy and it is surrounded by a charming landscape, scattered with old stone houses.
The town of Omegna lies at the north mouth of the lake. It is renowned worldwide for its design label companies, for example Alessi, Lagostina and Bialetti, and for water taps manufacturers, such as Nobili and Fantini.
