Are you a cat lover? If yes, you should visit the cats’ village on the hills of Lake Orta!

Yes… there’s a cats’ village also in Piedmont.. and it’s called Brolo, it’s a small hamlet part of the municipality of Nonio, located on the hills of lake Orta, just a few KM from the town of Omegna.

Walking through the streets of this small village you will see cats appearing from the windows, resting in the gardens or crossing the tiny streets.

The village is also characterized by several paintings on the walls of the houses, on tiles, on the streets and squares … of course all themed “cat lover”! At the entrance of Brolo you will notice a particular monument, the cat monument, so wanted by the inhabitants of the hamlet and kept there since 2006.
