We set off for the ‘D’ of Domodossola, capital of the Ossola valleys with its Sacro Monte, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Like the ancient Domesi, we will walk along the old mule tracks still well preserved among terraced vineyards, oratories immersed in nature and timeless villages hidden among the chestnut trees.
We will walk along mule tracks that once connected the old market square in the centre of the alpine town with Switzerland, passing through the Antrona valley to the highest point of the Antronapass at an altitude of almost 3000m.
An important journey that will enrich the alpine culture of the enthusiasts who now frequent the mountains far and wide.
