The Bodini museum, dedicated to the sculptor Floriano Bodini, is located a few kilometers from Laveno and was inaugurated in 1998 to homage the sculptor, who grew up and lived in Gemonio.
The former farmhouse, converted into a museum, collects all the masterpieces and the sculptor’s works that show his rigor and seriousness.

A perfect place for art and literature lovers, inside the museum in fact there is also a library with over 6,000 books about existential realism and the history of sculpture.

The museum, trying to make people experience art, organizes special days dedicated to the rediscovery of the art of sculpture, through manual workshops such as bronze casting and engraving.
