Once little more than a rocky outcrop emerging from the lake, Isola Bella was transformed in the 17th century by the Borromeo family into an extraordinary masterpiece of art, architecture, and landscape design. During your guided visit, you will explore the magnificent rooms of Palazzo Borromeo and stroll through the renowned Italian-style terraced gardens, arranged over ten panoramic levels rising 37 meters above the lake and offering breathtaking views at every turn.
Following the visit, enjoy an exceptional gourmet lunch at Ristolounge Elvezia, beautifully located on the shores of Isola Bella and overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Maggiore. A perfect opportunity to relax and savor refined local cuisine before continuing your exploration.
The tour then proceeds to Isola dei Pescatori, the most authentic and picturesque of the Borromean Islands. Wander through its charming narrow lanes and discover traditional fishermens houses, distinguished by their long balconies once used for drying fish. The islands timeless atmosphere and genuine character offer a fascinating glimpse into centuries-old lake life.
Your final destination is Isola Madre, the largest and most tranquil of the Borromean Islands. Here, an elegant Renaissance palace is surrounded by one of Italys oldest and most prestigious botanical gardens, home to rare and exotic plant species from around the world. The islands peaceful setting and extraordinary natural beauty create an atmosphere of serenity and refinement.
At the end of the tour, your reserved motorboat will return you to the departure pier, from where you will be transferred back to your hotel, taking with you lasting memories of a remarkable day immersed in art, history, nature, and fine gastronomy on Lake Maggiore.

Prices start at 550 euros per person (minimum 2 people).
The local guides speak Italian, English, French, and German. The meeting with the guide at the hotel is scheduled, depending on the hotel, between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.; the guide will already have the necessary tickets and vouchers with them.
This experience is not accessible to people in wheelchairs; pets are not allowed.
For children under 6 years of age, the activity is free. However, any lunch consumed at the Ristolounge Elvezia must be paid for on-site. Children over this age are considered adults.
