Alpinia Botanical Garden is a natural balcony where you can admire a breath-taking panorama at 800 meters above the sea level!

This garden is located at the bottom of Mottarone Mount, in Alpino area, on the hills of Stresa. It’s famous for the incredible panorama on lake Maggiore, on the Borromean Islands and on the peaks of Valgrande National Park. The garden was in fact founded to preserve a natural area of such beauty!

40000 square meters, 700 different alpine plants species but also flowers coming from China and Japan!

Curiosity: do you know that the symbol of the garden is the gentian flower? It’s a rare alpine blue-violet flower that you can admire inside the garden!

Alpinia Garden can be easily reached from Stresa with an e-bike, cycling on beautiful panoramic tracks!
