SUPMindfulness is a wellness experience on the water that combines Stand Up Paddle (SUP), meditation, and digital detox to help people slow down, breathe, and regain balanceeven in the heart of the city.

No prior experience is required. Each session begins with a short onshore lesson that provides participants with basic paddling techniques and safety instructions. The experience continues with a guided, slow-paced tour along Milans Navigli (meditation in motion) and concludes with a seated meditation on the SUP board, floating on the water in the heart of the Darsena.

During the activity, mobile phones are left in a secure location to remove a source of distraction and allow participants to fully enjoy the experience and the time spent together. Photos and videos are provided by the organizer.

Born from the meeting of Stand Up Paddle (SUP) and meditation, SUPMindfulness on Milans Navigli is an experience designed to help people slow down, breathe, and regain balance while floating on the water right where it often seems most difficult to do so: in the city.

Taking part is an opportunity to create a meaningful pause in the rhythm of everyday life. We do not escape Milan; we experience it differently, with greater presence and awareness.

The meeting point is the Associazione Nazionale Marinai d’Italia, a historic location in the heart of the Darsena. Here, each participant receives the necessary equipment, followed by a lesson to learn (or refresh) the basic SUP technique. No previous experience is required. The goal is to make every participant feel comfortable, providing practical guidance that allows them to feel safe on the board and enjoy the experience without tension.

Once the lesson is completed, participants enter the water from the dock under the instructors guidance and begin the guided mindfulness tour: a slow-paced paddle during which the sporting gesture becomes a form of moving meditation. The instructor accompanies participants with mindfulness cues and awareness practices while exploring the historic waters of the Darsena and the Naviglio Grande.

During the activity, mobile phones are left in a secure location to remove a source of distraction and allow participants to fully experience the present moment, becoming more aware of what is happening both within and around them. For this reason, photos and videos are taken and provided by the organizer.

The experience concludes with a seated meditation on the SUP board in the heart of the Darsena. Afterwards, participants are offered an herbal tea and invited to share reflections before returning to the Associazione Nazionale Marinai d’Italia.

The experience is suitable for individuals, couples, and small groups, and can be customized according to specific needs. Upon request, it can also be adapted for team-building activities and dedicated wellbeing programs.

Withdrawal conditions

Once booked, the activity is non-refundable. Subject to the organizer’s approval, an alternative date may be offered for participation.

What's included

– complete equipment: SUP board, paddle, life jacket, and safety gear;
– safety briefing and basic SUP instruction on land;
– guided slow-paced tour and guided meditation while seated on the SUP board;
– digital detox experience (mobile phones stored in a secure location);
– photos and videos taken and provided by the organizer;
– herbal tea at the end of the experience.

What is not included

– personal clothing and/or technical equipment (wetsuit, water shoes, etc.);
– personal drinking water;
– transportation to and from the meeting point.
