Have you ever heard about Big Benches?
Big Bench Community Project is a project born in 2009, thanks to the American designer Chris Bangle, that decided to locate big benches in Langhe area (Piedmont) to substain local communities and tourism… during the years the project become bigger and bigger and expand throughout Italy.

Do you know how many big benches are there today? 168 all over Italy!

Do you know that there is one on the mountains of lake Maggiore? Just above Cannero Riviera, in Monte Carza.
There it is, the Big Bench number 138, built in June 2021.

To reach this Big Bench from Cannero Riviera you will just follow the route to Trarego Viggiona and then to Monte Carza. At the top you will find some parking spots and within 15 minutes walking you will arrive at big bench, located in a unique panoramic point.
