Gurro is like a piece of Scotland in the middle of Italian Alps. Since 1973 Gurro has been officially a Scottish Clan, adopted into the Gayre Clan, with its own tartan and proud of its Scottish roots that date back to the history of the Sixteenth Century wars, when mercenary soldiers coming from Scotland settled down in this little and peaceful lost Highland. Only a legend? Whatever the truth is, it will be nice to discover this little hamlet and its traditions.
