Do you know that on Lake Maggiore there’s a 35-meter-tall statue?
We are talking about the Statue of San Carlo, a colossal statue located in Arona, on the Holy Mount, built between 1624 and 1698 and based on the project of Giovanni Battista Crespi.

Visitors can go up to the top of the statue, passing through a few spiral steps and then a staircase, to reach the head of the Saint! From here you’ll look outside through some holes on the eyes and the ears of San Carlo, with the chance to enjoy the surrounding landscape!
