Thanks to its sophisticate architecture, designed by Madrid-based architect Salvador Perez Arroyo, and its modular spaces, the theater has attracted wide interest from the world of entertainment and cinema;  actors and directors coming from all over the world have chosen Il Maggiore as a set for their shows because of its evocative forms, which dialogue in perfect harmony with the surrounding lake landscape. The outdoor arena is the symbolic embrace of the theater to the landscape, making the viewer feel the indissoluble union between culture and nature.

 

The Il Maggiore theater boasts important names who have graced its stage such as Anastasia, Ornella Vanoni, Ermal Meta, Rocco Papaleo and Alessandro Haber, Michele Placido, Lella Costa, Marco Baliani, Alessio Boni and many others.
