The excursion starts on the shores of Lake Antrona and continues as far as the Campliccioli dam, making a ring-route that crosses the most beautiful places of these lakes, one of natural origin and the other of artificial origin.
A point of great interest on the route is the passage under the Sajont waterfall via a beautiful steel footbridge suspended over the green waters of Lake Antrona.
Lake Antrona was formed in 1642 following a large landslide that blocked the Troncone stream, while Lake Campliccioli was created by a large dam built between 1924 and 1928.
