The "Boulder Altar" of Alpe Prà - Cicogna (VB)

Maybe an altar for human sacrifices in the moonless night. Creepy, isn’t it? A less grisly theory thinks about a star map which represents constellations in the warm summer sky. The truth is: nobody knows. This boulder, with more than thirty cup shaped incisions, stands over the centuries making people wondering on its mystery. So, don’t leave up to get to the Alpe Pra’, just near the “Casa dell’Alpino” hut, following the path starting in Cicogna (VB), to see with your own eyes the mysterious rock, being dazed by the view, and, in the end, feeling like the first human being on the Earth.
